Prayers and Fasting of Holy Shabei Mi'raj:
Hadith No-1:
❏ Imam Bayhaqi (رحمة الله) compiled –
He said: And he said: And three are certain in Rajab
-‘‘It was narrated from Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Indeed, there is a great day and a great night in the month of Rajab. Whoever fasts on that day and prays during that night, his reward will be like that of a person who fasts during the day and prays during the night for a hundred years. That great day and night is the 3 days remaining after the end of Rajab, i.e. the 27th of Rajab (Shab-e-Miraj).’’
(Imam Bayhaqi, Shu’abul Iman, 5/345 p. Ha/3530 and Faza’ilul Awqat, 95 p. Ha/11, Muttaqi Hindi, Kanzul Ummal, 12/312 p. Ha/35169, Allama Tahir Patni, Tazkiratul Maudwaat, 116 p., Imam Daylami, Al-Firdaus, 3/142 p. Ha/4381)
The chain of transmission of this hadith is slightly weak. Imam Bayhaqi (may Allah have mercy on him) compiled it and declared it weak. However, he narrated another source of evidence for this chain of transmission.
