We are all good people. But the Prophet, peace be upon him, has given some characteristics of good people.
Let's check ourselves are we on that list? Or not?
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that 12 people are the best!
One.
-ﺧَﻴْﺮُﻛُﻢْ ﻣَﻦْ ﺗَﻌَﻠَّﻢَ ﺍﻟْﻘُﺮْﺁﻥَ ﻭَﻋَﻠَّﻤَﻪُ
"The best of you is he who learns the Qur'an himself and teaches it to others." (Bukhari, 5027)
Two.
-ﺇِﻥَّ ﺧِﻴَﺎﺭَﻛُﻢْ ﺃَﺣَﺎﺳِﻨُﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﺧْﻼَﻗًﺎ
"Surely the best of you is the one who has the best behavior among you." (Bukhari, 6035)
Three.
-ﺇِﻥَّ ﺧِﻴَﺎﺭَﻛُﻢْ ﺃَﺣْﺴَﻨُﻜُﻢْ ﻗَﻀَﺎﺀً
"The best of you is he who is good at repaying his debts." (Bukhari, 2305)
Four.
"The best of you is the person from whom all hope for good and fear no evil." (Tirmidhi, 2263/2432)
Five.
"The best of you is the one who is good to his family." (Sahih Ibn Hibban, 4177)
Six.
-ﺧِﻴَﺎﺭُﻛُﻢْ ﺃَﻃْﻮَﻟُﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻋْﻤَﺎﺭًﺍ ﻭَﺃَﺣْﺴَﻨُﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻋْﻤَﺎﻟًﺎ
The best among you is he who is older among you and better in (good) deeds. (Ahmad 7212)

Seven.
ﺧَﻴْﺮُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﺃﻧْﻔَﻌُﻬُﻢْ ﻟِﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ
The greatest man is the one who is most useful to mankind. (Sahih al-Jame' Ha/ 3289)

Eight.ﻣَـﺨْﻤُﻮْﻡِ ﺍﻟْﻘَﻠْﺐِ ﺻَﺪُﻭْﻕِ ﺍﻟﻠِّﺴَﺎﻥِ ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﺻَﺪُﻭْﻕُ ﺍﻟﻠِّﺴَﺎﻥِ ﻧَﻌْﺮِﻓُﻪُ ﻓَﻤَﺎ ﻣَـﺨْﻤُﻮﻡُ ﺍﻟْﻘَﻠْﺐِ
"The best man is one whose heart is pure and whose face is truthful.
Companions asked, O Messenger of God! The honest face is understood, but who has a clean heart?
Rasulullah ﷺ said that the heart is clear and pure, Muttaki, in which there is no sin, no extravagance or oppression, no treachery and hatred. (Ibn Majah 4216)

Nine.
ﺧَﻴْﺮُ ﺍﻷَﺻْﺤَﺎﺏِ ﻋِﻨْﺪَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺧَﻴْﺮُﻫُﻢْ ﻟِﺼَﺎﺣِﺒِﻪِ ﻭَﺧَﻴْﺮُ ﺍﻟْﺠِﻴَﺍﻥِ ﻋِﻨْﺪَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺧَﻴْﺮﺣِﺒِﻪِ
The best companion to Allah is he who is best to his companion. And the best neighbor to Allah is he who is good to his neighbor. (Tirmidhi, 1944)

Ten.
-ﺇِﻥَّ ﻣِﻦْ ﺧِﻴَﺎﺭِﻛُﻢْ ﺃَﺣْﺴَﻨَﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﺧْﻠَﺎﻗًﺎ
“The best of you is the one whose character is most beautiful.” (Bukhari, 3559)

Eleven.
ﺧَﻴْﺮُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻣَﻨْﺰِﻟَﺔً ﺭَﺟُﻞٌ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﻣَﺘْﻦِ ﻓَﺮَﺳِﻪِ ﻳُﺨِﻴﻒُ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺪُﻭَﺪ
The greatest in dignity is he who, riding on his horse, terrifies the enemy, and the enemy also terrifies him. (Bayhakbir Shuabul Iman 4291)

Twelve.
-ﻟَﻤُﺆْﻣِﻦٌ ﻣُﺠَﺎﻫِﺪٌ ﺑِﻨَﻔْﺴِﻪِ ﻭَﻣَﺎﻟِﻪِ ﻓﻲ ﺳَﺒﻴﻞِ ﺍﻟﻠﻪِ
The believer (the best) who fights in the way of Allah with his life and wealth. (Bukhari 2786, 6494)
