Summary of Surah Kausar:

It was narrated from Anas Ibn Malik (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) fell asleep for a while. He suddenly raised his head with a smile and said, or when asked the reason for his smile, he said, 'A Surah has just been revealed to me.' Then he recited Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim and recited Surah Qawsa. (Muslim 1/300, Abu Dawud 5/110, Nasa'i 6/533)

Then he asked the Companions: 'Do you know what Kawshar is?' They replied: 'Allah and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, know best.' Then the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Kawchar is a paradise river. It has many benefits. Almighty Allah has given me this. On the Day of Resurrection, my ummah will gather at the edge of that Kawshar. There are as many stars in the sky as there are bowls of kawchar. When some servant of Allah is removed from the Qawsarah, I will say: "O my Lord! This is my madness!' Then he will say to me: You do not know how many innovations he invented after your (death)! (Muslim 1/300, Ahmad 3/102)

Imam Ahmad (RA) narrates from Anas, (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: I entered Paradise and came to a river whose banks were lined with pearls. I dipped my hand into the water and found that it was scented with incense. I asked: O Gabriel! what is this He replied: This is Al Kawshar which Allah has given you. (Ahmad 3/103).

Imam Bukhari (RA) and Imam Muslim (RA) recorded this in their books on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA). In their narration, Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, When the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, was taken to Paradise, he said: I came to a river on whose banks the buildings were studded with gems and pearls. I asked: O Gabriel! what is this He replied that it is al-Kawshar. (Bukhari 4946)

Imam Ahmad (RA) narrates from Anas (RA) who said: O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace! What is Al Kawshar? He replied, "This is a river of Paradise which my Lord has given me." Its waters are whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, surrounded by birds whose necks are pingle-coloured.

Umar (RA) said: O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace! Surely those birds look very beautiful. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Umar! Whoever eats those birds will look more beautiful than them. (Ahmad 3/220)

In Sahih Bukhari, it is narrated from Saeed Ibn Zubair (RA) on the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA) that Kawshar contains the goodness that Allah Ta'ala specially bestowed upon His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abu Bishar (RA) said to Sa'eed Ibn Zubair (RA): People think that Kawshar is a river of Paradise. Then Saeed (RA) said: The river that is in Paradise is among the blessings that Allah has specially bestowed on His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (Fathul Bari 8/603)

Imam Ahmad (RA) narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar (RA), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Al-Kawhar is a river in Paradise, its two banks are made of gold and it flows over pearls. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. This hadith was recorded in the same narration by Tirmidhi (RA), Ibn Majah (RA), Ibn Abi Hatim (RA) and Ibn Jarir (RA) in their books. Imam Tirmidhi (RA) called it Hasan Sahih. (Ahmad 2/67, Tirmidhi 9/294, Ibn Majah 2/1450, Tabari 24/650)

Allah Ta'ala says: O Prophet! Surely I have given you a gift. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice. Verily, those who harbor hatred towards you are destroyed. That is, O Prophet! You worship Allah in partnership with Nafal Salat and Qurbani. As Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in another place:

قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. لَا شَرِيكَ

لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

Say: My prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner, I have been commanded for this, and I am the first of those who surrender. (Surah An'am, 6:162-163)

Qurbani here refers to the sacrifice of a camel or other animal. Ibn Abbas (RA), 'Ata (RA), Mujahid (RA), Ikrimah (RA) and Hasan Basri (RA) said that Qurbani is understood in the context of the verse. (Tabari 24/653) Qatadah (RA), Muhammad Ibn Ka'b Al-Qarazi (RA), Jahhaq (RA), Rabi Ibn Anas (RA),

'Ata Al Khurasani (RA), Al Hakam (RA), Ismail Ibn Abi Khalid (RA) and many others of the Salaf said the same. (Tabari 24/654) This is the opposite of the behavior of the idolatrous infidels, who worship other than Allah and sacrifice in the name of others instead of His name. As Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in another place

وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ أَسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ

And you do not eat any animal on which the name of Allah is not recited while being sacrificed. Because it is a perceived object. (Surah An'am, 6 : 121) It is also said that this means placing the right hand over the left hand and tying it to the chest during Salat. It has been narrated from Ali (ra) with a Sahih chain of transmission. This is what Sha'bi (RA) has done in the commentary on this word. It means to sacrifice the sacrificial animal. This saying is the correct saying.

This is why the Messenger of Allah, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, used to sacrifice his sacrificial animal immediately after finishing the Eid prayer and used to say: 'Whoever performs the prayer like our prayer and sacrifices according to our sacrifice, he has sacrificed in accordance with the Shariah, and the person who performed the sacrifice before the (Eid) prayer. His sacrifice was not performed.' Hearing this, Abu Bardah Ibn Dinar (RA) stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace. Thinking that the demand for meat will be high today, have you sacrificed before the prayer?' In reply, the Messenger of Allah, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said: 'In that case, it has become meat to eat, that is, no sacrifice has been made.' The Companions (RA) said: O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace! At present I have one goat, but it is dearer to me than two goats. Will this goat breed be enough for me?' The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, replied: 'Yes, it will be enough for you

Yes, but no one else can sacrifice a six-month-old goat after you.'

Imam Abu Ja'far Ibn Jarir (RA) said: He is correct who says that it means offer all your prayers only for Allah, not for anyone else but Him. Be grateful to Him who has given you such wisdom and blessings as no one else has. It is for you alone. This quote is very good. Muhammad Ibn Ka'b al-Qarazi (RA) and 'Ata (RA) said the same thing.

Exterminate those who hate the Prophet (PBUH).

Allah Ta'ala says in the last verse of the Surah: (O verily, those who harbor enmity against you are annihilated. That is, those who are enmity with you are humiliated, insulted, their tails will be cut off and no one will remember them.

Ibn Abbas (RA), Mujahid (RA), Sa'eed Ibn Jubair (RA), Qatadah (RA) etc. said that this verse was revealed about A's in Wail. (Tabari 24/656, 657) This rogue used to listen to the discussion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and would say: 'Keep his word, he has no son. His name Nishana will be erased only after his death. (Nauzubillah). Allah Ta'ala then revealed this Surah.

Shamir Ibn Atiyah (RA) said that this verse was revealed about Uqba Ibn Abi Mu'it. Ibn Abbas (RA) and Ikrimah (RA) said that this Surah was revealed to Ka'b Ibn Ashraf and a group of Quraish. (Tabari 24/657)

In Musnad Bayyar, it is narrated from Ibn Abbas (RA) that when Ka'b Ibn Ashraf came to Makkah, the Quraysh said to him: 'You are their leader, do you not see that boy (Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)? He is separated from his community.

In spite of this, you think that you are the best and the best? But We are the caretakers of the shepherds, the caretakers of the Ka'bah and the water-suppliers of the wells of Yamuzam.' The miscreant Ka'b then said: 'Undoubtedly you are better than him.' Allah Ta'ala then revealed this verse. The authority of this hadith is authentic or pure.

'Ata (RA) said that this verse was revealed about Abu Lahab. After the death of the son of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, this unfortunate miscreant began to say to the polytheists, "Tonight the lineage of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, has been abolished." Allah Ta'ala then revealed this verse.

Suddi (RA) says that when one's son or daughter dies, he is called an 'avatar'. After the death of the children of Rasoolullah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, they called him 'avatar' due to enmity. Allah Ta'ala then revealed this verse. The polytheists also thought about the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, that if the child had lived, his discourse would have been awake. Now that is not possible. But they do not know that Allah Ta'ala will preserve the name of His beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as long as the world lasts. The Shariah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will continue forever. His name will be bright and resplendent in the sky till the Day of Resurrection and Judgment. His name will always shine on land and water. May Allah Ta'ala send the greatest number of Durood and Salam upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his family and companions until the Day of Resurrection! Amen!

Context of reciting Surah Kafirun in Nafal Salat:

It is narrated in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite this Surah and Surah Chamar in two rak'ats of Salat after Tawaf. (Muslim 2/888)

It is narrated in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to recite these two surahs in the two rak'ahs of the Fajr Sunnah prayer. (Muslim 1/502)

In Musnad Ahmad Ibn Umar (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, used 1,38 and dis 1 in the two rak'ats before Fajr and the two rak'ats after Maghrib. He used to recite these two surahs more than ten or twenty times at different times. (Ahmad 2/24, 58)

Narrated in Musnad Ahmad Ibn Umar (R.A.), he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, reciting Surah 1, Ma at night and Ta Na 8 in two rak'ats of Sunnah Salat of Maghrib on twenty-four or twenty-five different days. (Ahmad 2/99)

In another narration of Musnad Ahmad, it is narrated from Ibn Umar (ra) that he asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) to recite Surah 1a in the two rak'ats before Fajr and the two after Maghrib for a month.

have seen (Ahmad 2/94, Tirmidhi 2/470, Ibn Majah 1/363, Nasa'i 2/170) Imam Tirmidhi (RA) called this hadith Hasan.

The explanation that this Surah is equivalent to a quarter of the Qur'an has already been described. - Surah also has the same characteristics.

Surah Kafirun and its translation:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ يأَهَا الْكَفِرُونَ

  لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ

وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَبدُونَ مَاأَعْبُدُ

. وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُم

. وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَبِدُونَ مَا أَعْب

Banganubad: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful (beginning).

(1) Say! O infidels!

(2) I do not worship that which you worship,

(3) And you are not worshipers of Him whom I worship,

(4) And I am not a worshiper of that whom you worship.

(5) And you are not the worshipers of Him whom I worship.

(6) Your karma for you and karma for me.

Regarding the pledge to be free from Shirk

In this Mubarak Surah, Allah Ta'ala declares His displeasure with the practices of the polytheists and enjoins us to worship Him alone. Although the Quraish of Makkah is addressed here, all the infidels of the world are brought under this address. The revelation of this Surah is that the disbelievers said to the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace: 'One year you worship our idols, the next year we will worship one God.' In response to their proposal, Allah Ta'ala revealed this Surah.

Allah Ta'ala is commanding His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Say, O disbelievers! Neither do I worship your gods, nor do you worship my gods. And neither will I worship your gods, nor will you worship my gods. That is, I will only worship my Lord according to His preferred method, you have invented your method of worship. As elsewhere:

إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الذَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّهِمُ أَهْدَى

They follow only guesswork and their own instincts, while the guidance of their Lord has come to them. (Surat al-Nazm, 53:23)

Therefore, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, completely freed himself from their contact and expressed total displeasure with their worship and worshipers. It should be noted that every worshiper has a deity and a method of worship. The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his Ummah worship only Allah. The followers of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam worship according to his teachings. That is why the principle of faith is: (La ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadur Rasulullah) means there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger. This means that there is truly nothing that can be worshiped except Allah. There is no other way to please the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam other than the only way revealed.

On the other hand, the god of the unbelievers is different from Allah, and the method of worshiping them is also different. They have nothing in common with Allah's prescribed method. That's why Allah Ta'ala ordered His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to inform the disbelievers: For you is your religion and for me is my religion. As Allah Ta'ala says in another place:

وَأَنَا بَرِيدٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

(O Prophet) And if they tell you lies then say: I will get my karma, and you will get your karma. You are not responsible for my actions, and I am not responsible for your actions. (Surah Ibrahim, 10: 41) Allah Tabaraka wa Ta'ala also says:

لَنَا أَعْمَلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَلُكُمْ

Our work is ours and your work is yours. (Surah Shura, 42: 15, 28: 55) That is, you do not have to answer for our actions and we do not have to answer for your actions. In Sahih Bukhari, it is written in the Tafseer of this verse: For you, your religion is kufr, and for me, my religion is Islam. (Fathul Bari 8/604)
